Scott Wright

Scott Wright has been an educator for 20 years.  He has a B.S. from Syracuse University in Elementary Education and completed graduate studies in Curriculum and Design at SUNY, State University of New York State at Oswego. He is currently working Master of Science in Social Studies Education Preparation (Grades 7-12). Scott is a 6th grade teacher and a Professional Developer for the North Syracuse Central School District located in New York State.  He is a national trainer for Habits of Mind and 6+1 Traits of Writing.  Scott is also a district trainer for Cognitive Coaching. He is also a faculty member of Lemoyne College’s School of Education.  Scott holds memberships in ASCD, NYSSDC, NSDC, and IRA (International Reading Association). In 2005 Scott was chosen as one of five finalists for New York State’s Educator of the Year. Scott can be reached at:
