As a former ELA teacher, founder of an alternative program, and adjunct professor in teacher ed programs, Liz sought ways to empower learners at all levels to believe in their ability to succeed. Over the last 12 years, she has worked in many districts throughout the state and in the DOE, helping educators to explore ways to make learning meaningful, clarify expectations and provide feedback that allows students to improve their own performance. Three years ago, she began partnering with Bena Kallick and has been amazed by the transformation she’s seen as teachers explore ways to integrate the Habits of Mind and Attributes of Personalized Learning into their instructional plans and daily practice.
